“A Mindlift Beats a Facelift”
M. Burmeister
Hello my friends!
You might have noticed that I have been quiet in the last two months. While I wrote 2-3 posts on average in the months of October, November, and December, I have barely posted once during the new year. I’ve had a lot of insights that I wanted to share but every time I set about to post them, it just did not feel right. I finally realized what was happening. My insights and ideas I wanted to share had outgrown the original design of this blog site. So, I set about to re-arrange the site to fit better with the blog posts that have been circling around in my head pushing to be expressed. 🙂
Meet the New Face
The old title was too specific and except for the few messages announcing upcoming Jin Shin Jyutsu classes, it did not truly reflect the nature of the blogs I posted. So, I have changed the title to “Lilies Of the Field”. Yes, the site is still about Jin Shin Jyutsu, but it will be one of several topics. The focus will be on the Art of Effortless Reality that shines through many lights and forms in the world. It is more about finding, seeing, and living that Effortless Reality in any shape and form we recognize it. I have added a page about Lilies Of the Field, and have created two pages dedicated to the Cycles of Life and Jin Shin Jyutsu.
What You Can Expect
The nature of my blogs will not change much.I will continue announcing any upcoming Jin Shin Jyutsu classes in our area. And, I still would like to have fun and keep it practical. If I can share insights that can help others live with less effort, I will do it. The topics, however, might be more encompassing and reflecting the Effortless Reality essence of the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu. You might see more references to the cycles of life and overall to anything that helps us “Drop the Shoulders” and “Be the Smile”.
Together We Are More Than the Sum Of Us
I am also excited to have found a partner for this site. She is my closest friend and the person who watches my back when I stumble and get too bogged down in my day-to-day life drama. You might have already read her first contribution, No Resistance. She is also currently working on the Joy of Simple page and will be contributing at her own pace.
I hope you like the changes. Browse through the site and see for yourself. If you are a subscriber and do not wish to receive further email notifications, use the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the emails you have received so far. If you enjoy the new site, share it with others. The more the merrier!
